I changed the design to be a sort of two minute digital timer using GAP. Doing it all manually would take a lot of time, whereas GAP nicely automates much of the repetitive stuff. The other nice thing is this GIF file size is less than 100 K, which gives it a fairly nice small footprint. :)

Thanks for sharing your XCF file so that I could make this possible Rod.

:tyspin

I will have to bundle the XCF files I used for the animation and add them here as a ZIP file for anyone wanting to examine them.

:)

Here is an update to the original, done in Gimp and GAP, with some additional animation features:

Thanks again to Rod for the original XCF permitting me to add to his work to make this and the above.

:)

Note: I have included a ZIP file containing the XCF files I used to build the above animation. Feel free to inspect them and use them to attempt to duplicate either the first animation or the second one posted here if you wish.

Nice stopwatch Rod! Not digging the top, and bottom fonts though. I also noticed a bit of pixelation on the top of the stopwatch. Not much, but it is noticeable.

I made a stopwatch, and called it TimeSamurai, it's a chrome extension, a web app, and a java application. (1 word boredom lol) Check it out!
