Nice work node sculpting. I still think inkscape has xara beat in that area. I'm not familiar with the show you're asking about, unless you're older than me I've probably seen it.

Wow, I checked your link and have absolutely no memory of that. It may be prophetic but the logo has two bananas in it and I'm sitting here with two bananas for lunch. Hmmm.

Looks cool Rod; I vaguely remember the real monkey show (and of course I definitely remember the Monkeys themselves). Anyway, you probably remember the Warp Text Script-fu someone posted at the Registry a year ago that may help in creating these, but still nothing can be better then hand placing the text like you did here. :)

I always found it odd that technically there was no group called the monkeys. The whole group was put together just for the tv series and turned out to be one of the most popular bands of all time.
Incidentally, I wouldn't have had the patience to draw all that by hand. I bow to you.

The Monkeys - a great group of studio musicians. Never saw more than a couple of the shows, too many other things to do at that time of the day. I think my sister watched it though, otherwise the TV wouldn't have been turned on.

I still remember their song "Pleasant Valley Sunday"
Does anyone remember what was on the flip side of the single?
I think it was "Tapioca Tundra" but haven't been able to confirm it.

Daydream Believer and you know what i mean .. oh ohhhhhhh :)
I think that was it.

I was born in 1963 so i grew up around most of these shows.
Partridge family and the like.
I sure love catching these old favorites on YouTube
kudos to those who do upload them all for us old timers to reflect on. :lol

I remember watching the Monkees and listening to my brother Ernie play Sounds of Silence on his guitar. :)
Indecently guess what my brothers favorite show was? THE MONKEES! So i got stuck on it getting stuck watching it sorta speak. :P
Loved the show though.

I loved watching the Monkees TV show, those guys were hilarious. Mickey (Dolenz) did a show here a couple years ago, and it was really good. He is a very good musician as well as a singer...his sister was in the show and has a great voice, too.
