In samj 2.10.14, there is G'MIC-QT version 2.8.0_pre
Are there any of you who have put GMIC 2.8.1 without problem? And keeping the favorites.

Are there any of you who have put GMIC 2.8.1 without problem? And keeping the favorites.

There is a file called gmic_qt_faves.json,
which contains all the parameters set for your favorites.

I'm not sure if this file is replaced, or if you are asked to keep some files,
when 2.8.1 is installed.

Keep a copy of this file before installing 2.8.1 just in case.

Never mind about linking me to the files,
because I found them.


All I did,
was to replace the gmic_gimp_qt folder in Preferences > plug-ins.
With the downloaded gmic_gimp_qt folder

My G'MIC was using 2.8.0


After replacing the folder.
It's now using 2.8.1 and none of my favorites were effected.
