G'MIC version: 2.9.1 not working...?

Greetings. I just downloaded the latest version of G'mic (2.9.1) for use in Gimp 2.10.12 and it doesn't seem to work. With a layer selected, when I open the Gmic function, the said layer isn't present in the viewer and none of the filters I apply affect the layer afterwards. I've used G'mic for years and used many versions but never had this issue before.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any help is appreciated.

If there isn't a solution, is it possible to revert back to the previous version of G'mic? I didn't see that option on their website.

NEVERMIND!!?

It now works. I just accepted it wasn't going to work until I figure out what happened but thought I'd try one more time and now for whatever reason, it works. Some weird delay reaction? No idea.

Hi Hoot! In most cases, when something like GMIC doesn't work, it usually involves not showing up in Filters. In your case, it's a rare situation because it showed up but did not work properly. Please do share what you discovered and enabled you to fix the problem, so that others who may encounter it will be able to check this post.
