Missing G'MIC [Artistic] Photoillustration filter.

Hi. I am currently running GIMP 2.10.20 (revision 1), which I installed a few months ago on Windows 10. I also installed G'MIC. As of today, my G'MIC Artistic filter -- Photoillustration -- is missing. Gone.

I've tried updating the G'MIC filters by clicking on that little update filter box with the curved arrow at the bottom of the G'MIC window. It didn't bring back Photoillustration. I've shut down GIMP and restarted it and then, also shut down my computer and restarted that, too.

This didn't work. Now what?

I asked about it on GMIC forums. I'll respond when David or someone answers. It used to be in Artistic. It could also be a name change.

Did you check out Illustration Look in Artistic?

I've just learned that David disabled it 12 days ago, per Afre. I did send David a PM asking about it. He doesn't always reply, but he might via the forum. What time is it in France atm?

Illustration is a very different filter from Photoillustration. The two filters have little in common other than the word "illustration".

This is a bummer for me because Photoillustration is one of my favorite GIMP filters.

Is this disabling temporary? What's the reason for this?

If You really care about this filter, go back to the 2.8.x G'mic version (the last one is 2.8.4)

With a little combination You can use the latest version interchangeably.

Just to confirm Mahvin's assertion- I run GMIC 2.9.2 and it was not in my system when this thread opened and I had '544 available filters'. I just did an update and now I have 545 filters, including 'photoillustration', so yep it's back in there now.
