Irregular reslts from extrude3d filter

I am trying to use the extrude3d filter in a script but the output from the filter is uneven depending on my text length the font size can also have an effect but I set it to 250 on all examples below

I'm not sure I understand your problem Graechan, what would you like to get exactly ?
Those images look good to me.
