Has anybody ever used these other filters on G'mic and how did you get on with them. The reason why I've asked this question I was thinking download one of them but I wanted to be sure which one is the best for me apart from tom's filters.

i suppose everybody will suggest its own!
anyway my 3 best are already included in gmic (Artistic menu)

but no risk to try, only the first group from Kairo is very specialistic,
the download will be done automatically when refreshing filters once the new sources are enabled

To me, it makes sense to do all of them. There aren't that many in any of them. I have all.

I agree, they don't take up much room and you never know when you might want to try them along with other filters/plug-ins. I also have them all. You also need Cairo's set in order to use Python.
