I'm using 'pack sprites' in Gmic 1.5.8.0 gimp 2.8.6 64bit and it fails either on its own or via 'Multi-brush-Fill'
Has something changed in the filter recently? :gaah

I use 1.5.7.2 gmic in 2.8.6 gimp 64bits and the filer pack sprites works just fine for me. That's weird that it doesn't work in 1.5.8.0 64bits with 2.8.6

Thanks for your reply mackenzieh at least I know it's not just me below are the errors I get by using the filter via 'Multi-Brush-Fill' and directly in Gmic 1.5.8.0
  GIMP Error
Plug-in crashed: "gmic_gimp.exe"
(C:\Users\user\gmic_gimp_win64\gmic_gimp.exe)

The dying plug-in may have messed up GIMP's internal state. You may want to save your images and restart GIMP to be on the safe side.

  Multi-Brush-Fill Warning
Error while executing script-fu-multi-brush-fill:

Error: ( : 1) Procedure execution of plug-in-gmic failed on invalid input arguments: Procedure 'plug-in-gmic' returned no return values

  GIMP Warning
Plug-In 'Multi-Brush-Fill' left image undo in inconsistent state, closing open undo groups.

My Stupid Feeble excuse for a brain has let me down again 1.5.8.0 is only beta, so I've gone back to 1.5.7.2 and everything's OK
