I'm not sure if this will help you (but it might help somebody), when you hover over an Equations box at WolframAlpha, in the lower left corner choose 'A' for copyable plaintext.

Odinbc : well, this has been done already (for months :) ). The result was the "Rendering / Cupid" filter !
