Why don't you people allow to download the module they want manually and put it in the good place ?
Why do you think this is not possible ? Have you only tried to ask ?

I know five people who use GIMP. Two of them can't run this plugin... (2/5 ! + me).
Do you find that ok ?
Why don't they post feedback, explain their problems so we can try to help them ?
Complaining without even giving clues to help you is useless.

I never had similar problems. I use RawTherapee, PhotoFiltre, ShiftN, FastStone, neatImage...I don't speak about other software that don't concern the photo.
Cloud is the cancer of the liberty !
What cloud ? It seems you have a huge misunderstanding on what the G'MIC project is, its philosophy, and how it works. If Patrick David (the author of the color profile files) could read you, I'm sure he would appreciate !
The color profile files for the film emulation filters are absolutely free to download, and the links can be found quite easily.
Nobody already had this request (or at least never asked), that's why you cannot find a list of the links. But, you could be surprised to see how this can be fixed easily when asking in a polite way.
The easy way : find someone who succeeded in downloading all of the color profiles (use filter '[Download all presets]' for this).
The required files are then stored locally on its computer, you can find them here :
- On Linux : $HOME/.gmic_film_presets/*.cimgz
- On Windows : %APPDATA/gmic_*.cimgz
Copy them on your machine, at the same location and it should solve your problem.
And next time, I suggest you to be less aggressive.
