I've done further experiments with this filter, and I've found that it is very cool do quickly transfer faces from one portrait to another.
Like in this example :

Here is the result alone. It's interesting to see that the whole process only requires a few clicks :)

I've made a quick video to show the different steps used to get this kind of result :

Awesome. Thank you Ronounours it is a great filter. It used to take 30 minutes or more to do this manually at times.

Interesting filter.
I think that we'd must work with all Gimp & G'mic filters for get tricks to apply in this kind of blending.

For a quick result, or for fun, a great option.
Laughed a lot with the metamorphosis of Stalone above, :rofl :hehe
and found that Jean-Claude Jackson was very good.
Here joked with the attachments provided by jamac4k. -->> #67

I've added some more options to the Blend [seamless] filter, for a better control of the seamless integration.
Now, you can finely tune the inner and outer fading for the object incrustation.

Here is also another example of what you can get with this funny filter :)

Ronounours,
Improved a lot! :clap
The option of separate layers is also quite useful.
With a few steps, and has guaranteed fun.
The pictures below were just to test the filter changes.
Thanks for the improvements! :tyspin

I had a bit of a problem. I was unable to get the butterfly to seamlessly blend. Upon close inspection you can still see the parts around the butterfly that were not erased. I played with the Inner Fading and Outer Fading which significantly improved things but it didn't blend as much as I wanted it to.
