The quality of the output for cube is not as you would expect, (the edges around the text and cube became jagged) see examples below
using Map object 'box'
Image

prior to update using Imageobject3d cube (with jagged edges around text and cube edges)

After update, look at me now ↓WoW

If anyone Knows how I can improve my cube output please share info
My gmic settings are ["-gimp_imageobject3d 1,width,height,0.56,57,41,21,45,0,0,-100,0,0,4"]

Thanks Graechan to pointing this out to me.
I've added a 'Antialiasing' option that should improve the rendering. Could you 'refresh' your filters and tell me if that works for you ?

I had the option when I refreshed but it had no display and didn't work so I refreshed again and the new option had gone
but it still didn't have a display or work

There are other scripts that use imageoblect3d will adding a new option affect them

Ah, I see, there has been some issues recently with the update system.
It should be fixed now, try to refresh your filters again, and the Antialiasing option should be there.

This is issue I was referring to the other day, when I mentioned the quality of the cubes in RFT was better using Map Object than G'MIC.

Glad to see it has been fixed. Thanks, Rono!

I refreshed when David was sill working on the antialiasing option, as at first he tried it with (options 2x,3x,4x etc) which failed and corrupted my Gmic
no worries, I reinstalled Gmic and all is OK, Wow what an improvement :jumpclap
Image
Thank you David for taking the time to do this :tyspin

Graechan, you were probably working with a beta version, the command -j3d had been added few days before the final release.
Happy to see it works for you now.
