Hello there,

I'm happy to announce "yet another new version of G'MIC" :roll: , numbered 1.6.0.3.
Nothing spectacular in this version, except bug fixes and some new features interesting for G'MIC hackers, as usual!
Anyway, the timing for this release is good, because I can now focus on some different things, like my friends and family, for these Christmas Holidays.

Binaries are already available for Linux 32/64bits and Window 32/64bits (thanks again Samj !!).

Well, there's been a bug in the Windows 64 bit version, in regards to installation Over and over, I'm reading of folks having problems in installing that version.

There are a couple of YouTube videos about the bug and its go-around. My problem is that each video appears to come up with a different work-around. I note that, here, I haven't seen a mention on solving the installation problem in the past or the future.

I have a 64 bit system. I understand that I could install the 32 bit version, but I'd like to think that the 64 bit version will be more robust or whatever.

Eddiemsmith I've not encountered any problem installing the 64bit version of Gmic but if you have one just ask here for help

I only install the executable included in the gmic-gimp-plug-in zip package. I never write over anything else in the plug-in folder.
That seems to work fine for me. :)
