 Post subject: G'MIC 1.6.1 NEED HELP

Yes but mine came with GIMP Extensions 2.8.20150403 . How do i Upgrade to the New G'MIC 1.6.6.1 ? Should i uninstall GIMP Extensions & install G'MIC 1.6.6.1 & Reinstall GIMP Extensions without G'MIC and then reinstall all my Scripts again? NEED HELP PLEASE THANK'S

Location: Native to NYC living in Arizona, Gimp 2.8 & 2.10, Win 11 PC.
If you're using Windows, you can run the latest G'Mic executable for Windows. There should be no need for you to uninstall anything.

Happydays is correct, you can get the file from here... http://gmic.eu/gimp.shtml
If you hover over the text of the download, it should highlight and then just right-click it for the download.

The file that you download should look something like this file below.

Thanks...had tried that also but I got source error and antivirus was not happy...I disabled my antivirus and installed fine this time :)

My security program wouldn't allow the download either.
I needed to add an exception for the G'Mic .exe file within my security program. In order for me to be able to download and install G'Mic.
I did report this, but there isn't much that can be done at this point. The G'Mic .exe file is a young file, meaning that this version of the file hasn't been around very long. This can cause some security programs using File Insight, to flag it as unreliable or with a low reputation.
