David,
do you think it COULD be possible to extend the interface from Gimp to G'MIC to include (maybe with a CSV text string) the parameters concerning input/output parameters?
Particularly useful would be:
1-the possibility to select "ALL" as input layer(s), otherwise some nice filters cannot be called from inside a script
2-the possibility to select "NEW IMAGE" as output
but -in general- almost all of the left page options are interesting in certain cases.
Should the problem be the compatibility with existing scripts, we could think about a second interface called "plug_in_gmic_full" in addition to the current "plug_in_gmic".
What do you think about?
Thanks!

It's just my doubts - let's wait for the opinion of the author GMIC.
Dinasset - I do not understand the rest of your idea.
Is it about that even though GMIC has the options - albeit with different input / output give the same code (you can check in ulubinych)?
Is it not a matter script-fu?
If this is not possible in script-fu (and I do not know - and are You sure?) - It's your idea has a lot of sense.

@MareroQ
currently the interface allows to call G'MIC for applying a filter ON THE CURRENT ACTIVE LAYER.
There are filters (in G'MIC) which run ONLY IF YOU SET LAYERS=ALL (one for all: Pack Sprites), thus currently these filters cannot be called from inside a script (scheme or python).
What do you not understand in my request?
What is ulubinych?

Dinasset, it should be already the case.
In the screenshot below you can see you can choose the input type:

You cannot create a new image, but you can create a new layer (or a new set of layers),
just by enclosing your G'MIC command inside a '--local ... -endlocal' block.
