I love computers :-)
A restart of Gimp solved that.

I've just posted new binaries today, that should be able to import the faves from version 1.7.9, and make them work for 2.0.0_pre.
Lyle, could you test and confirm this works for you, please ?

Strange; the first time I opened up GRIP 2.0, no favorites showed up (so closed and looked into my favs location and didn't see that my favs were overwritten. I then re-opened GRIP 2.0 plugin and my favs were there and they worked. I also verified that the favs for 1.7.9 still work too. Thanks a heap, David. :)

Could be a feature, but, if you open up GRIP, it resets your presets in G'MIC and vice/versa (so if you changed any of the sliders in either one and then open the other one, it will reset the sliders as I mentioned). If you stay within the plugin universe (i.e stay in GRIP for instance) then the sliders will keep their position as you left them for the preset that you worked with. Just a head's up. I'll copy this at PIXL forum too. :)

Hello Lyle,

Note that the 2.0.0 plug-in is not GRIP. It's just my old GTK plug-in updated to G'MIC 2.0.0.
The code of GRIP (now finally G'MIC_Qt) has not been released yet :) We have to solve a lot of issues
before making it available. At this point, there are still regressions compared to the current GTK plug-in.

Ah; OK; so 2.0.0pre is really still G'MIC then. Now I get it. Hope to see G'MIC_Qt soon; then I hope someone creates a widget that will allow you to call it within other programs such as PS. :)

Starts to get complicated! GRIP, G'MIC RIP, GAAP (wasn't it)... :)

If I can be of any help with testing things, let me know.

Yes, it is complicated by the way. We are still not sure about the direction we have to take for the project :)
When it's ready for testing, I'll made an announcement for sure !
