Hello folks !

A new minor version (numbered 2.0.4) of the G'MIC image processing framework has been posted today.
This new stable version stays (mostly) compatible with the previous version 2.0.3.

Location: Retired Moderator Slowly Returning to the Living.
Installed 2.0.4 on Windows 7 64 bit, but when I click on the about button it still shows up as 2.0.2

Just got home from work (my Friday; yea). Just download and extracted the zip file where it belonged and all's well. Just tested one preset, but it worked fine. Thanks for the update, David. :)

What says the plug-in title bar ? The version number is displayed there.

Title bar shows 2.0.2
The installer showed 2.0.4
I may try uninstalling and reinstalling.
Even to going uninstall menu shows 2.0.4

The picture below is before doing the uninstall and reinstall. Doing uninstall and reinstall leaves me with no G'Mic at all. Reinstalling 2.0.2 still leaves me with no G'Mic. I even downloaded the zip version and that's a no go.
Weird problem but I'll figure it out.

Since G'MIC v.2.0.3, the default install folder is a subfolder of the GIMP plug-in folder, so you need to add this subfolder to the GIMP preferences to make it found the G'MIC plug-in.

Thank You Ronounours! This was the issue. I didn't see any notes pointing this out when I downloaded it.
This is something that should be put in big red,bold and underlined letters when you go to download it.

@Rod: yes, I've started working on the next version 2.0.5 as well, and as it is intended to be fully compatible with 2.0.4, I'll regularly put updated pre-versions for 2.0.5 on the G'MIC website, and make them as the default download links.

As mentionned I had to manually create the folder for the windows 10 system. its name is "gmic_gimp_qt" in the "plug-ins" folder of the user. Then I had to install Gmic 2.04 again and it works fine ! I loose some of the favs of my Gmic but not all. Thank you for the informations. :hi5
