meaning of DL?

In several filters, I saw a slider setting "DL".
DL is the abbreviation of what?

Detail Level?
Using other abbreviations than the ones that mean something and have become "standards" in the graphics universe like RGB, HSL etc. would be real strange and confusing.
Maybe it's your locale, cause I don't have it anywhere.

In samj "barbouillage paint daub"

I'm guessing it's Dilation.
I don't get why that same filter has 2 entries in Gmic.
Under Samj the plasma settings are in French but it's exactly same as the Paint Daub under Artistic.
