Hi everyone, I recently downloaded and installed the latest G'MIC version 2.8.2. On the Lights and Shadows> Relief light the setting's third digits are not showing. Does anybody else have this problem?, I wonder if David Tschumperle is aware of this? If you are reading this, David; can this be fix? Thank you in advanced.

I'm getting the same results here using G'mic 2.8.0, I don't think it's much to worry about though. Just round it off to the nearest tenth.

I just found out this makes an interesting effect when you play with blending modes.

It might be worth posting on the gmic site as a possible bug or at least an annoyance. Looking at the gmic log, the applied command line shows more than two decimal points.

eg: gmic_gimp_qt]./apply/ fx_light_relief 1.1,0.452,0.2,0.085,1,63.587,37.1981,5,0.5,0,0

Would someone explain how to set up the stand alone G'MIC? Currently, I cannot get G'MIC called from Gimp. Thanks in advance.

I thought there was a Windows Stand Alone G'mic program? I use Linux so can't help here.

For those that run Linux Mint or Ubunto, you can simply install the .DEB version and create a shortcut to launch G'mic on the desktop or in your menu.
