Bonjour,

Here is a new script (G'MIC) that creates closed curves.

Filters > G'MIC > Testing > Samj > Courbes fermees / Closed curves (V1)

(Update G'MIC filters)

******

Some parameters for curves :

- Parameter_1 = 1
- Parameter_2 = 1 to 8
- Parameter_3 = 1 to 16
- Parameter_4 = 0 to 1.5
- Inversion = Type 1

- Parameter_1 = 0
- Parameter_2 = 1 to 8
- Parameter_3 = 1 to 16
- Parameter_4 = 0 to 1.5
- Inversion = Type 2

Do we need to add something to an image or does the filter do all of that?

Thank you all :)

@Oregonian

Do we need to add something to an image or does the filter do all of that?

The filter creates a curve on a layer each validation of G'MIC.
The animation of the example is made from 4 curves (1 curve/layer) with different parameters.

Oh my, I tried opening this on a transparent layer and it took ages for the thing to render. Everytime I try to change a slider, it stops and takes ages again to render new setting, even if I haven't finished moving the slider yet. Any hints on how to make this process faster?

@2-ton

It is possible to disable the preview while changing settings.
We can also reduce the number of iterations by increasing the value "Increment angulaire / Angular increment".
I do not know if there are other methods (programming tips ...).
