....to have more than one photo in Collages. I have tried it with opening a few photos at once (only the active photo is displayed several times after pressing ok).
I have also tried it with different layers but still only one.
I must be doing something wrong. How does this work?
Just noticed about a week ago the 'collages filter under film emulation and tried it today.

of course you can have more images open at once, sallyanne

you open the first one, then go to file -> open as layer
in case your images are all the same size, they be stacked upon another
so you would only be able to see the one at the top

next you might want to increase the canvas size
thats under Image -> Canvas size

or you could scale down individual image on its layer with the scale tool

and then you move your layers around with the move tool

My Mosaicize script adds a command ("Filters->Map->Mosaicize") that will automatically arrange the layers in your image such that all of the layers are visible. You could then flatten the image and run your Collage filter on the resulting layer.

Thankyou for that piece of information.

Yes it is best to notify a Moderator (via PM or Image) in cases where you need a topic or part of one moved or removed. Thanks. :)
