Is animation possible? Of course then you would need layers/frames wouldn't you? :)

Thanks for the quick reply!
This can be done with Inkscape - I am patient - wait for this option !

You know the display graph...on off?...yes, of course you do.
Sometimes I have noticed that I like the way the red nodes look on the design, but not the graph lines, of course.
Is there a way to beable to turn the node dots on and off, and give them different colors.
This would be fun, to make the designs look different.
Just a thought.

You could call it a 'decorational plugin'

You can export the graph as in the SVG and edit it with Inkscape.
As of now the plugin can interact only with the graph structure.

I think it would be cool to make plugins capable of some kind of post-processing of the SVG output. Maybe it will come as an export option, but not now.

Thanks again Mattia. The beta worked great but nice to have an official release. Really glad you are now supporting 64-bit Windows OS. :)

Do you guys think I should put a way to download plugins from within Knotter or just let the users download and install by themselves?

An update plug-ins button from within Knotter would be best i think. :)

I've modified the fill area to give it the option to render an outline of the polygon.
It's compatible with Knotter 0.9.4.
Here is where I'm hosting the new plugins: https://sourceforge.net/projects/knotter/files/plugins/
It may change if I implement a download from Knotter.
Is it OK if I compress them as tar.gz? Windows cannot extract from that without external programs like 7zip.

I was going to as for a feature where if you click 2 points far appart, that wout place nodes within a specified interval instead. I can work with the outline preset though so cool (just downloaded and dried the new fill plugin). Will try randomize soon as well. Thanks again Mattia. :)

You can break an edge into equal parts via the context menu, that should be quite close to that feature.

Not seeing the context menu you speak of Mattia but have to admit I've not read the PDF tutorial yet. lol

I check it out later when I get some time. :)

What PDF tutorial? :?

Anyway right click over an edge to get the context menu. More details at http://knotter.mattbas.org/Manual/Editing/Context_Menu

Only one computer I get an error - duplicate entries plugins.
I can not find the old configuration file - where to look?

Remove the old plugins. You can find the list of directories in which Knotter looks for plugins in Help > About > Plugins

I tried - also a double entry:
c:\Program Files\Knotter\data\plugins !
In other specified locations - no files or folders!
Do I remember correctly - it is also stored in the registry?

Plugins are loaded from their files, not from the registry.
The problem is that C:/Program Files/Knotter/data/plugins is counted twice so all the plugins are loaded twice.
For some reason Qt thinks that lowercase c:/ and uppercase C:/ are different directories.
