I made an animated decorative rope brush. It could also be used to make picture frames and whatnot.

I just changed dynamics to fade tapering and used few layers to brush over he original hair.
Now I'm wondering if we have a braid brush somewhere...
Very nice decorative rope racer-x, that's a keeper!

Here's a hair plait brush. Used brush spacing 65, brush dynamics track direction.

Dang...I didn't even know this was a thing. I wasted a bunch of time making animated brushes when all I needed to do is properly orient a brush and set the spacing. Then use brush dynamics "track direction" when applying it. Makes it much simpler to do it this way and file size is much smaller due to the use of just one layer.

I deleted all my animated brushes and am now in the process of making new ones. Here's my Chain brushes so far...

I guess if GIMP came with an updated manual (it probably exists, somewhere), I should read it, huh?

Perhaps I should also just run all the DYNAMIC tools to see what is what.
