Inspired by Wallace's Animated Pepper brush, i decided to try making an animated emoticons brush;

here are is the brush in action:

2 brushes are attached:
"linear", and "random placement".

license: these icons were taken from http://www.tapuz.co.il; i think it's creative commons, so respect their license please.

few notes:

to create the brush, i
1) downloaded all the icons,
2) and then Gimp > File > Open As Layers
and multiple-selected all the icons
3) Export As ... > File type: GIH
4) There are several export options;
- the most important were: spacing (in this case it was desireable to choose more than 100%)
- and random. IMMV

For the more scattered brush,
1) i enlarged the canvas and all layers to 2-3 times larger than the icons
2) manually moved each icon/layer to a random location

this spreads the icons randomally (see XCF)


for the crowd image, i added the icons in 3 layers:
the "far" layer is "dodged",
the "middle" layers is "lighten"
the "front" layer is left as it was.

Yaay, Really cool stuff!

I didn't think what I did would inspire anyone, and I'm flattered.
