chain icon of the scale tool

Am I the only one who can hardly distinguish if the chain icon of the scale tool is open or closed?

I recently changed the dark theme for the system theme because I could not distinguish the + from the filter presets (eg "drop shadow", Gaussian blur, burn ..) but still a problem for the scale tool, I have to get closer to 5 cm from the screen ...

Easy to make the mistake. Good thing about Gimp though is you can 'undo' your mistakes.
