I was using GAP back in 2.6.11 to apply filters/actions such as, Colorize, Desaturate, Sharpen/enhancements and the like. Being that GAP isn't available in 2.8, how would I accomplish this task now?
Is there something in G'MIC that would allow this functionality?

It does!?

I was told that it didn't work. I also installed it and nothing worked. Maybe I had an older version that was not compatible with 2.8?

Where can I get the latest GAP for 2.8?

I just compiled it from the version 2.6 source. In theory, a 2.6 binary should work (plug-in interface changes are supposed to be backwards compatible across minor version updates), so you could try that before building a new binary.

Thanks Saulgoode, I'll give that a go. Image

Wallace, I installed the latest GAP, but it does not work in GIMP 2.8.10 when i try to use the function "filter all layers> map to". However, this function works perfectly well in GIMP 2.6.

That's nice to know. :bigthup
I would really enjoy a fully functional GAP for 2.8. I like creating animation from time to time, without it things become very time consuming and laborious.
