Looks really nice, Wallace. Is it specific to a version of gimp? I recently had to go back to 2.8.14 as problems with 2.8.16.

I rarely use themes but I do have Aurora-Midnight and Tactile available.

I'm using 2.8.14 and don't know if it'll work in anything higher.

It seems to make everything easy to see with good contrast. The little check boxes are visible too, but not as visible as I would like them to be. But more so than some other themes.

Mine works great with GIMP-2.8.16 (NOT GIMP-2.9 versions)

Thanks for all the suggestions!!

After looking through them, I am going to use the one PegLeg44 suggested.

It has the most readable text in all situations.

Thanks again! :tyspin

Are you running a 2.9.3.???? version of GIMP, because otherwise I don't understand how you don't have the standard, coloured tool icons.

If you are using 2.9.3.????, then the icons are controlled by an icon-theme: See Preferences>>Icon Theme

Can you show us a screen-shot?

Kevin

Is that a "Partha" build? I ask because I believe he changes the default theme.

Do you get coloured icons if you select the Default theme?

Then you need to take your complaint to Partha.

Oh I don't want to complain, just wanted to know the reason I had the issue. Where do you get your build from paynekj?
