I recently read about an interesting way to boost colors in Gimp 2.10 here: https://discuss.pixls.us/t/gimp-2-10-x- ... ricks/8827

I like the results and also like experimenting with various color channels and blending modes. I made a screen cap video if anyone needs it.

When will GEGL filters be available in pdb to use also in scripts ?
I guess it's time already !
Many new functions are GEGL, many old ones replaced by new GEGL...

It's frustrating not to have the possibility to insert them in a filter processing.

Good news for those interested in the effect.
It can be reproduced with traditional color decompose:
- decompose RGB (into layers)
- delete R and G layer
- invert the residual B layer
- copy and paste as a new layer on top of the original
- set to grain-merge
- new layer from visible
- set off visibility of the copied B layer
- set visible layer to grain-merge

There must be a simpler way... at the end, the Blue channel is 127 everywhere. It seem that all that is done is darken R and G and replace all the B by 127.

Racer's method is very easy to do and I really like the result.
This is the same effect as my Polaroid sunglasses which absorbs
blue light and makes white clouds pop out. So when I use a polarizer
filter on the lens of my camera I get the same effect as my glasses.

Anyway... here's my result with Racer's method.
Before and After.

Thanks Racer.
