Strange Occurrence With Font In Gimp 2.8.18

I opened an old splash screen,
I made some time ago.
The font used in the splash screen,
had been log gone at this point.
However,
the font used showed up with color, bevel and shadow,
within the font layer itself.

There was no corresponding font installed and this shows,
by the font dialog name being empty.

Here's a gif image of this font anomaly,
that I observed.

In the gif image below.
I'm turning off the eye of the font layer and then turning it back on.
As can be seen.
The font shows up in full color,
with the bevel and shadow,
which were applied on different layers,
when it was originally created.

How this is possible,
I do not know.
Would anyone care to try and explain this anomaly?

I was going too suggest it had been rasterised but looking at the screenshot it doesn't appear to be.

Perhaps the font was created that way?

Nope.
Here's what the font looks like out of the box.
It appears to be like most fonts are suppose to be.

I've never experienced anything like this,
with any other font.

If anyone want to download this font and check it out.

Is the text layer editable? Must be a bug of some kind.

Thanks for the new font, Wallace.

It's hard to find a font with a nice Capital K. Most script K's look like they should be lowercase. Maybe your problem is a Gimp bug.

Gee, Skinnyhouse! That is how I feel about my computer and specifically Gimp 2.10.8!
