Noticed this at Betanews site but when I checked GIMP.org, I didn't see anything about it. Anyone here know why they pushed it out as update 2 rather than go to 2.10.16? Even so, does anyone know what buggies might have been patched (i.e., is it worth it for me to install this one or not)?

Indeed, when you hover over the download link, it is for version 2 even though the gimp.org site doesn't say a squeak about it, Rich. Good to know it's just a simple update, but still, why all the cloak and daggar bs? Just state it on the main page. lol

Thanks for the info. Since I really don't work with large files, I'll wait; still hoping for a biggy soon (i.e., 3.0 release).
