Yes that one is under map, there is also a legacy one under filters > map, as well. Doesn't give the option of which type of fractal.

A bit late to the party. Not Gimp, this comes from the Java fractal program jwildfire and since I only use it very rarely these days, serendipity plays a large part ;) The inset is the map image used.
