 Post subject: Creating 3D geometric shapes.

I need to create 3D geometric shapes (tetrahedrons, octahedrons, etc.) for a business logo design. I tried it 'freehand' but they aren't looking right. Any suggestions as to how to do this? Thanks.

Maybe Inkscape is the right tool here? Esp for logo designs.

Here is a link to a thread I started on here where I shared the five platonic shapes I had made, at the bottom of the first post you'll find the xcf files for each shape.

After some internet searching I found the easiest way of making them was to use the a golden ratio rectangle.

3D Polyhedron extension is more versatile that i previously thought, have played around a bit to find out what it can do
