Jon Stipe Layer Effects 2.8 python (layerfx.2.8.py).

Top Layer: some text, used black for convinience
Bottom Layer: red

Executed outer bevel using default settings. Preview ticked, seems ok. Click ok and it creates the highlight and shadow layers, but what You see is just the same text layer without the bevel effects.

Group contents:
- text-highlight (screen, opacity 75%)
- text-shadow (multiply, opacity 75%)
- text layer

Tick text layer off, You can see shadow, but You can not see highlight. If You change modes to normal the bevel will show but normal is not screen or multiply.
Obviously this has something to do with the group, because the other python, layerfx.py which works in 2.8.10 works correctly.
Like I'm sure You know, it does not create group. But if I create a Layer group and place the layers there in same order, puff the bevel is gone.

Does anyone have deeper knowledge what is causing this?

layerfx-2.8.py is full of bugs and doesn't function correctly please try Layer Effects.py instead
