Hello, I am a one week year old user of gimp. I installed gimp one week ago and used python-fu for scripting. It works very well on windows-10, gimp 2.8 Yesterday, i installed gmic. It seem to work well on GUI. Now, here comes the issue: After having installed GMIC the python-fu script does not work anymore. I have this error message: GIMP-Error: Unable to run plug-in "zlib1.dll" (C:\Users\admin\.gimp-2.8\plug-ins\gmic_gimp_qt\zlib1.dll) Failed to execute child process (Exec format error) When i delete the gmic_gimp_qt directory completely the script works again. Thank you for you help. PS: My goal is to automate the script diego's pseudo-hdr-effect on windows 10 using python-fu |

Possibly Erisian, yes... Check for duplicates of .dll files in your C:\Users\admin\.gimp-2.8\plug-ins ..and dll's in your C:\...\gmic_gimp_qt folder, if so delete from the plug-ins folder and leave alone the ones in the gmic_gimp_qt folder. That could be a solution. |

I messed up everything. I have to reinstall gimp and gmic. I come back in few minutes |

in C:\Users\admin\.gimp-2.8\plug-ins, there is only one directory gmic_gimp_qt so if there are duplicated dll, i need to have another directory |

I remove zlib1.dll and restart GIMP. The Gmic-retinex works well.
