I'm an amateur modder of the games Torchlight & Torchlight 2 by Runic Games.

I stress the word 'amateur' as coding is not my strong suit, so I like to spruce-up my mods with custom art (confuse the enemy

) As an artist I'm not good for organics like faces and people, but I'm fair for logo work and the like.

For image manipulation I use GIMP exclusively. But sometimes I'll first make or trace stuff in Powerpoint since it has some basic 3D tools, then export it as an image to finish it in GIMP.

I joined GIMPchat hoping to pick up lots of helpful tips/hints for how to do stuff with GIMP. Happy to be here!

Welcome to GC Phanjam. I once started modding Might and Magic 6 using Gimp but the sprites were horrendous! I found it too much in the end.
