Hi, I'm new here, hoping to learn a bit more. I do a few different things in GIMP, mainly bits for games and Old Fashioned Posters.

Hello gang!

I model for art classes, which inspired a friend of mine to pose nude for a few friends, although she said an art class of strangers was out of the question. Our conversation evolved into "era or "period" pics where I'll try to give her recent photographs a look as if they are from the 1500s, 1880s, 1920s, 1940s and/or 1950s (pinup or ww2 posters)! I look forward to getting to know the intricacies of GIMP, and to donate to GIMP especially since Adobe Photoshop is now a subscription only package. I also plan to tie GIMP into some infographic ventures of mine that I am doing to attempt to start a business.

How many of you like altering photographs to look like other time periods?
