Hello everyone! I'm so glad to have found this place after about half a year or so of using GIMP rather than Photoshop to create my webcomic. I'm still learning the ropes and have a ton of questions but I'm eager to learn to use this amazing program to full capacity.

A little bit about me: I'm Greek, living in Athens, and I make a webcomic called "Without Moonlight" which is a WWII war drama set in Nazi occupied Athens. It's basically historical fiction in genre.

When using Photoshop was out of the question anymore due to the program not running in Windows anymore I switched to GIMP and to be honest I have not regretted it one bit!

Here's a page I've created in GIMP. I'm, as I said, still a novice in the program but I'm here to learn!

Thank you everyone!! I'm going to try to update my GIMP today with the newer version (not the 2.9 though yet). Do you think I should do it? Will my plugins work?

I'm updating from a previous 2.8 version... I'm prepared if things go awry to re-install all plugins...
