I'm Likekinds and new to the forum. I've been playing around with GIMP for several years. I am self taught. Everything I know about Gimp, I discovered on my own. So, it may be that I know a few things worth sharing.

I think it's generally accepted that one could never know all there is to know about GIMP. And that brings me to my main reason for joining the forum; I want to learn from others.

My main interest lies in the restoration of old and damaged photos. It's my main interest, but probably my weakest point. I spend most of my GIMP time doing makeovers, mostly of famous people.

I hope to make a lot of friends here, friends who wont mind me picking their brains for whatever info I can use.
