Hello... new to gimpchat and to partha's build of 2.8 which unfortunately supports none of my tablets, but hopefully v3 and a new GTK aren't too far away and will solve that. Okay, so I'm a little bit of a :geek

Anyhow, my name is mud... err... Eric actually. Normally I just figure these things out on my own having a little programming under my belt.... I can usually muddle through things, but I'm having trouble getting the liquid scaling plugin to work in partha's build. It worked fine in the default build, but with the default build I was having issues with Resynthesizer...lol. I'm thinking that it's a file location issue since the default install worked fine, but installed to folder "Gimp 2" in program files and Partha's installs to "Gimp 2.8". I should also clarify that I am working on Win7 x64 Ult for my OS.

Anyhow, I was hoping someone might have had the same issue and maybe could point me in the right direction even though I realize this is not tech support.

I am a bit of an artist by the way and anyone who wishes to is welcome to take a look at my work at any of the following locations:

http://www.sumo.fm/#profile/id=81500
http://www.ratemydrawings.com/user/TheGreatESCape/
http://thegreatescape.redbubble.com/

I also welcome feedback if anyone is so inclined... I am working on building up my portfolios, so any constructive input is appreciated.

Have a good day everyone :)

Welcome to Gimp Chat. :welcome I like your work. I like drawing and painting figures too - especially female figures. I'm working on a fairy at the moment and it's taking a looooong time! Hope you enjoy your stay. :)

Yeah, it's called fire animator. I'll try and find the link for you.

Here it is. http://gimpfx-foundry.sourceforge.net/browse26/release/madsen-fire-animator.scm Right click/save as, change txt to all files and add .scm at the end of the name.

thanks! I am assuming it will work on any 'outline' like a dingbat or even a black line on a transparent background?

Erisian..
thanks very much for the fire-animator link. I downloaded it and will check it out later. I have seen many scripts for fire animation but they are not as good as what you have done.
Beautiful avatar!
