I got the notification earlier too (and installed the update). First time I recall getting such a notification with the GIMP. Interesting.

I went to website after receiving this upon opening GIMP. There is no info on the initial page update. I went to the "Mirror page" and I found out the last revision "gimp-2.10.18-setup-2.exe " was posted on 3/24/2020. https://download.gimp.org/mirror/pub/gi ... 0/windows/ |

I tested this new revision and the selection of palettes, patterns, gradient still don't work. So hopefully by September we get this fix. |

Maybe it will be fixed when v2.10.20 comes out. In the meantime the Linux AppImages have the patch and I assume the Windows Portables also have a patch. |
