as the site says "This is a bugfix release. There are no new features. However, G'MIC has been updated to 1.6.0.3. The 2.9 experimental builds for Mac and Windows have been updated as well. They are current as of December 20"
OK, you have to search "partha gimp" by youself

@partha
but there are 2 things
1. there is no more 32-bit gimp for windows. I remember someone said pspi runs on 32-bit gimp
2. there is no python-fu menu item for the 64-bit gimp for windows. but there is 'python' directory under GIMP. Is this a bug?

64-bit GIMP can run 32-bit GIMP plugins including PSPI oyster. :)

This is a bug. Please send me an email at the address on my website and we can sort it out. Please note, you are likely to get faster response if you go through my website. :)

Thanks,
Partha

This is not true.

You run 32-bit plugins by providing all the 32-bit DLLs including all of Gimp 32-bit DLLs (or .so for linux) within the 64-bit Gimp.

How do you handle the 'python-fu menu item is missing' problem?
I have set up my mingw for windows, and I can compile 32-bit gimp for windows now. Although I enabled python while building, there is no python-fu menu in my compiled gimp, and I don't know how to fix it.

Python-fu is not missing from my compiled 64-bit Gimp. I have tested and retested after your report.

I misunderstood you. You are talking about your builds. Make sure that your python libs are available during your Gimp build and make sure the python interpreter points to the right version in pygimp.interp.

Hope that helps. We can take this offline if you have other questions.

Thanks,
Partha

Please, some of us still need a 32 bit version of your gimp Partha.

Partha's build is 64bit only and does not contain the 32bit folder so there are no 32bit dll's

I used to enjoy Partha's portable builds on my win 32; in fact I preferred his builds over the official ones.

But since I can't get them anymore, I'll resort to the nighly builds to keep up with the happenings, even though I know I am missing alot from Partha's builds.

Sorry, it's that time of the year and I've been very very busy. :(

Thanks,

I assume there no trouble running both 2.8 and 2.9 on same system even though there installer .

the last builds I have a self-contained (nothing to uninstall in control panel) so just delete folder .

Lyle, how did you install PSPI in 64-bit Partha?
