Only for testing.
Built according to the principles portable by Samj.
It is a mix of Dark Refraction http://nightly.darkrefraction.com/gimp/ and my compilation of multi-stroke https://git.gnome.org/browse/gimp/log/?h=multi-stroke (but not MyPaint brush - maybe someday with someone's help ...)

Additionally includes only:

Python-2.7.5
G'MIC-1.6.3.1 (compiled by Samj)
MathMap-1.3.5
UserFilter (Filter Factory Converter)-0.9.7
BIMP-1.14
Autosave-0.4
Export Layer-2.3
Script-Fu Scrolling Interface V1.1

MareroQ, thanx for the 2.9.1 but is the gimp 32bit or 64bit, Onkel Hatti added MyPaint brusheshes to his Gimp painter compiles

Well, darn, I have to install a virtual machine right now and try that out! (ATM I'm in newly-minted Mint Linux on my all-64-bit machine, lol)

ETA: Zowie, I'd sure like to see this in a normal GIMP interface!

Thank you. I made a spider with very little effort. :) Pretty handy addition to GIMP.

Despite i observe in the console a very lot of "unable to run plug-in" to the various dll like i do for the dark refraction build, i'm very impressed by your 2.9.1 build, because unlike the dark refraction ones it actually works on my win32 !

That's probably the 1st time in 2 years i managed to see a 2.9.1 working on my win32 OS
I didn't even tried a 16 bits color depth, only tested on an image in old 8bits color depth.

I saw something strange with the brushes, it's like it's lagging behind my cursor when i stroke with the mouse and the stroke is smoothed as if i had Smooth Stroke enabled, i made sure to disable the dynamics in case and Smooth Stroke is disabled, no idea what's going on there.

The Warp Transform, while much cooler than the Warp from 2.8 (due to using the whole image instead of a mini-version is really slow, much slower than the equivalent on any other image editor, i hope the devs will have their mipmap thing implemented to speed things up

The Unified Transform tool is a bit odd to use at first, i'll have to study this a bit more. But when you apply your transform Gimp oddly recalculate for several seconds, while it used to be immediate in 2.8 (even the rotate tool does that)

The Symmetry tool is just awesome.

Anyways, thank you very much for sharing your build, nice to see those new tools in Gimp.

nice spider Rod, it would be terrific to see a 64bit version of 2.9 with 'Multi Stroke'
.xcf from2.9 wont load in 2.8

Looks like a cool set up. I will have to have a further look tomorrow. Too cold these nights to stay up. :tyspin Thanks.

Not sure what you mean by a GIT master . When I first opened the gimp my anti virus (Avast) scanned every file - took about an hour. Now it opens up straight way but I get about 8 errors. I still have the gimp open .
I like how you have the G'MIC and Mathmap included in it too.

Thank you so much for sharing. And, please, where is Onkel Hatti's compiles with the MyPaint brushes??

Regards.

Onkel Hatti did not (and will not) make a compile of gimp-2.9-multistroke with MyPaint brushes. :hehe
The use of MyPaint brushed now depends on a library, in formaer versions, there was a kind of inline code.
The library uses scons, yet another script/makerfile/autotool, whatsoever, as I said, yet another one...
Multistroke works good, well done, but it is nothing, I make use of.
MyPaint brushes are in a very first state of work, they are so slow, they are really useless at the moment.

Ok, now I get the point.

Thank you for your response.

Thank you all for testing.
According to me - Symmetry in GIMP Multi-Stroke is better than in Krita, MyPaint or Alchemy.
Great appreciation for Jehan Pages - author of the idea and execute code.

For G'MIC plug-in with high-bit depth support (gmic-minimal - in console: git clone https://github.com/dtschump/gmic-minimal.git).
https://discuss.pixls.us/t/gmic-plug-in-with-high-bit-depth-support/386
I tried to compile GMIC-minimal using source.
Failure!
I used file SAMJ - it works for Windows (thank You and Greets - come back to us) - I used to GMIC-minimal: compile_gmic_and_gmic-gimp_plugin_32_win_OPENCV.sh.
In my works without problems!

I'm so far behind with my GMic, I am still at 414 filters. I have to put in a whole new updated McGimp and have forgotten how to do it properly.
