For me (Vista 32bit) Gimp 2.8.20 works very well - apart from the small problem with running the installer (because I have several versions of the GIMP ;) ).

I've come across this bug in every version starting from 2.6.
Seems as though this bug is still present in the previous 2.8 release.
I wonder if it's been fixed yet?

GIMP 2.8.20 installed on notebook under Windows 10 x64.

AOK so far including the colour picker. Will wait a week or so before doing main PC.

This just in form bugzilla.gnome.org.
Looks like this bug wasn't fixed after all.

Works fine with single monitor though, maybe additional Ram would solve problem with multiple monitors
2-8-20 is a bugfix for 2-8-18, and I don't think Gimp would consider this to be a bug in the code

Thanks for the confirmation, TL. Regardless, I'll wait a few weeks to see what happens. :)

I have Win 7, 64 bit (single monitor) at work, and it works fine here.

My lappy at home is Linux 64 bit, and no problems there so far either...

:D

I haven't updated since 2.8.16. :) Probably won't unless they add some new features or something.

OK; you folks persuaded me to download the new GIMP. Will let you know of the success or failure shortly (25% downloaded so far; lol). :)

edit:

Well, G'MIC still works which is pretty much all I was worried about. ;)
