MareroQ Thanks! We're putting together the news post for 2.99.18 now, so it should be out "officially" soon.

I was just signing into GimpChat to tell people about 2.99.18 in my CMYK test thread.

dude, can you tell me if Gimp 2.99 remembers colors for GEGL filters?

Like for example if you

1.apply GEGL Drop shadow as the color red
2. save as an xcf
3. exit and reload the same xcf

will the non-destructive drop shadow still be red or will it go back to being black/whatever primary color? THat is the bug I've been whining about and wondering if it is now fixed. Please notify me if you believe that bug is gone so I can compile 2.99.18. I'm on 2.99.17 btw

contrast_: Unfortunately that update did not make it into 2.99.18. I did rebase my branch with the fix so it has everything from 2.99.18 if you'd like to use that: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/-/t ... -nde-color

It will be included for the 3.0 release candidate though. :)

So let me clarify before I compile. It has all three request I stated here? If so I'll recompile.

Thank you I confirmed 2.99.19 to be the first stable build and deeply wish it was a public release.
