Here is the problem i run into while compiling Mathmap 1.3.5 32 bit.

Since 1.3.5 was released nearly three months after the patch, perhaps it already incorporates it.

Downloaded the package and it starts with a lot of "exception processing messages....." errors. Going to hit every time "continue" Gimp starts.
Also after adding the Indexprint and Lineborder-2 plugin both don't work.

My system: XPpro SP3 32bits

Line Border and Index Print both require Glade to be installed PyGTK with Glade that is.

I know but I have installed PyGTK with Glade bindings. Installation of Glade is not necessary.

Both works flawless on Gimp 2.6.11 but how to install it on Gimp 2.7.5??

did you start from gimprun.exe ?
Do not start from gimp.exe !

And i have no clear what you mean for errors i tested well also in xp i never see error, there are "warning" that are a different beast but if you don't modify the preference closing the error console they should not disturb (they should be visible only in the error console tab)

And what you mean to click continue ?...i can't see any "continue" to click

Are problems during loading ?

anyway if you get any error please post the exact error messages (or even a screenshoot ) so they will be fixed

About the "warning" will be warning till all the script and plugin will be ported to gimp 2.8, and that now is impossible because gimp 2.8 did not exist yet and plugin/script developer prefer not update before all the planned changes will be definitive

But anyway warning are totally harmless (and they may silently redirected to the error console..that just need to be left open) if errors will be fixed but to fix i have to see the error messages

Yes I know.

Starting Gimp will give several times a "exception message" warning/error popup with a long hexadecimal code. A screenshot will be posted here.

Popup has three buttons. One of them is called "continue".

No except I became crazy from the starting screen you made. ;)

Gimp 2.7.4 portable is working for me (downloaded from Partha's site) without any trouble except Indexprint is not working either. The reason I asked for Glade bindings is that I cannot install the normal Gimp with Glade bindings: company policy :(. So I'm searching for a portable Gimp compiled with Python and Glade bindings so I can run Indexprint to archive thoussand's of images. Oh and yes I can use Contactsheet but is not capable to check filetypes, no title and I have no plans to develop Contactsheet any further. Contactsheet is in bug mode only.

i wait for the screenshot i really don't understand what you are talking about :
you wrote that there are not errors when loading but many when starting :?: :?: :?:
to me "Loading" and Starting" are just synonymous

But if you mean that you get errors when starting plugin as indexprint that you added, that error regard the plugin that may be not compatible with 2.7 in that case i fear only its developer may help

BUT you are forcing me to blind guess please add the screenshot or the error text i want have clear the problem and see if is something i could fix

i wish to repack soon , i was planning mainly "cosmetic " changes , as remove the "script -fu" and the "shapes" additional menu created by a group of scripts moving them in more adapt locations, ...and a more light splashscreen.

but first i want have clear your problem

This is one of several messages I got starting Gimp the first time after I installed it.

The second time I start Gimp just one message appears.

I collected some more information for you. I removed the directory and installed 2.7.5 again. This is what I got. I added some text in between it's complaining about GAP except for the last message.

The first time to try you had a lot of error messages
the 2 time only 1
but now you got at least 4 !

Yes all you posted seems about the Gap Master Videoenconder and that make sense the Master Videoenceder should handle all the codec and libraries for video and audio and maybe doesn't find something

Here i hope somebody :hey :welcome may help to test the :bowdown :bowdown GAP Master Videoencoder
i confess to have no much familiarity with it, when i use GAP usually i export in flash (the option is in File menu) or as a series of png (to convert in Avi )

So here i really need somebody that know the Videoencoder to check if may be some bug there

Hi, I am a new member of the forum. I have registered just for this message.

I am a user of Gimp for a couple years and was interested in trying these nearly final gimp 2.8. . I have downloaded this gimpvideo-2.7.5.7z from sourceforge, in two occasions with two different computers. Both tell me when I try to uncompress that there is a trojan in the file gimprun.exe. One was with MacAffe and the other with Lavasoft. I know the reputation of Photocomix as a dedicated gimp supporter so I am just puzzled.

Regards
