The script-fu seems to be a programming example to call the plug-in, the "Readme-NON-INT.txt" file is the documentation for this script.

When i ask to place the results on a new layer the plugin crashes.

My tests are good on three versions of Gimp 2.8.6 32-bit Windows :
- SourceForge
- Partha
- Mine (gimp-2.8.7-20130804_portable)

The tests are good on the 64-bit version of SourceForge.
