Hello,

I have been trying to install this python plugin 'anitools.py' for gimp 2.8. I have tried placing it in the plugins folder within the .app contents and within application support. I have also tried running chmod to make the file executable. Still I have been unsuccessful.

On a side note, I am trying to install this plugin because i want to add alpha channels to multiple layers at once (i have ~1000 layers so this would be very tedious otherwise). If someone knows of a way to do that other than using this plugin, that would be helpful.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Resolved. There was an indentation problem in the python file.

Thank you Graechan. I will look into that script.
