Gosh, PM, I thot as soon as mine started to work that yours would cuz we both had the same error exactly. What about that line that lyle said he changed?
Anyway, you will get it figured out soon.... I hope.

Wish I has a coder PM; Lot's of help from Mahvin helped get mine to work. Not sure what the issues could be. Not sure why so many different solutions were required in order to get this script to work either. I can only tell you that my version of Python is 2.6.5

I have python 2.6.4, so maybe that's the problem. It's going to be too much trouble to update python, so I will just have to pass on this one.

@PM.... This is what I used and followed his text to a T and it worked for me. It is Python 2.5.2 and it went perfectly.... It is PC's install pack....

I want to give it a shot, but I am so sick of reinstalling Gimp on this new laptop! I guess one more time wont be too bad.

only takes a min to install, you don't have to un-install gimp.....I have a feeling it should work... PC said some python versions are too new so recommened the one in his pack... I just followed exactly in the order he said.

Molly, you do have to re-install GIMP. It's the only way for GIMP to recognize Python.

I said un-install Mav..... I said you don't have to un-install Gimp.

Molly, I wasn't trying to be a pain. Just stating the obvious to PM's predicament of not wanting to re-install GIMP. Regardless of whether GIMP is un-installed or not, he will still have to re-install it. So, if this offended you, my apologies. My only goal is to be helpful, not an antagonist.

gosh that never crossed my mind for one minute. I guess I must have worded my instrucs wrong to PM.... Hey, you aren't the offending type. I know that... just look at that snowman avatar of yours, now would he offend anyone?

In a text based world, it's not hard for people to be offended. But I like your perspective on the snowman. It does soften the edges a bit, doesn't it? I hope PM has a problem free Python re-install. :)

It's a no go, so I put it back to 2.6.4 and will just play with other stuff. I'm still trying to get the Shape Collage people to re-issue me a license, because of the crash, but so far that's no go too. :hit
Kaleider and Liquib gave me my new serial numbers right away.
