Operating System: Windows
OS Version: XP - SP3
GIMP Experience: Beginner Level



Hey...wanting to download Python. Which version should I use, 2.72 or 3.22? Do I have to uninstall Gimp first? Thanks

Ok thanks....so I can only install version 2.6.4 using this version of Gimp?

That is an excellent how-to but it is getting a little dated. I gave a few hints here
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3953&start=20#p49195

The first couple of minutes are about installing python, it is a win 7 machine but XP is just the same.

To answer your question on versions, stick with python 2.6
