Can the cursor be changed for the warp transform tool?

AnMal is trying to use 2.10 for the first time and she has come across a problem. She cannot work with the Warp Transform tool because the circle gets in the way of what she is trying to do. Is there a way to have only the cross hair cursor for this tool?

I took a look through all the preference settings,
and could not find a way to change this.
If there is a way of doing it,
I'm not aware of how it might be done.
